The Gift I Can Give August 9, 2007
I have been blessed with a head of hair that grows fast! If you are considering a new look, I want to share my experience with you. Each time I have cut my long hair short, I have donated my 17 inch cuts to kids who are facing battles with illness. It makes me feel terrific that perhaps my hair can make their life a bit happier and their ordeal a bit easier. I encourage you to consider making a gift of your beautiful hair! It will make a kid happy!

Happy Birthday America! July 4, 2007
Today is the Birthday of America!
I honor this nation in which I can choose my course.
Things are not perfect here, and I do not agree with many of the decisions made by this administration, AND I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity that is mine as a citizen of the United States of America.
I am free to use my voice and being for the advancement of the ideals I hold sacred!
I am free to become the very best me I can be!.
As a woman I hold my head high. As an individual, I have choice.
It is my fervent prayer that I use thees gifts well. I understand they are not universal, and am committed to advancing the liberties of all peoples.
God Grant Me Wisdom, and Strength

My Wonderful Father! June 17, 2007
My father was my absolute HERO. He was loving and kind, and he made us laugh! He worked hard so that we could have the things that he did not always have as a kid growing up in the depression. He read us Bible stories, and took us to church each Sunday. He even loved visiting other churches, when we were on vacation. He thought my mother was the most wonderful and beautiful woman in the world (and she was) and if they had disagreements, we never heard them. He treated all women with respect and instilled that in his son. He opened car doors, and held chairs, and was always saying “Ladies First”. He taught me to learn from stuff that didn’t turn out as planned, and to always try my best. He was an example of service, and treating others as you would like to be treated. He guided little boys to become Eagle Scouts, and he beamed at every concert and play and recital I ever participated in. He went to parent -teacher conferences, and made us feel like we were the best kids in the world. He was a World War 2 hero, and he returned from that war to live a life in gratitude and patriotism.
I loved him very much. He gave me a very BraveHeart.
I HONOR
